We introduced “Local Heroes” to recognise those small independent businesses within our ward, who through sheer hard work and determination have created something special deserving of support. It’s surprising how many people don’t know what’s available in their own community let alone a few few miles down the road. Supporting local business has all sorts of benefits, not least the satisfaction of knowing you are dealing with someone who has put their heart and soul into what you are buying.
